Members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend a meeting to be held at the Village Hall, Great Saling on Monday, 27th October 2025 commencing at 7:00 pm for the purpose of transacting the following business:

AGENDA

 

  1. Apologies for Absence.

 

  1. To receive members’ declarations of interest and dispensations in items on the agenda.
  2. Dispensations should be requested from the Clerk up to the day before the meeting.

 

  1. Minutes: Acceptance of the minutes of the meeting of the Parish Council on 25th September 2025.

 

  1. Neighbourhood Plan Working Party:

To receive an update from the Neighbourhood Plan Review Working Party and to discuss and agree any expenditure required to progress the review.

 

  1. Trees: To consider quotes received for works to the ash tree on Great Saling playing field and agree on a tree surgeon.

 

  1. Finance: To note, receive, and consider the following:

Payments authorised prior to the meeting (in accordance with Financial Regulation 5.1):

  1. £311.75 to clerk for expenses at Braintree Garden Centre (plants for the Community Garden).

Reports and approvals:

  1. To note the Finance Report for October and approve the listed payments. (Appendix I)
  2. To approve any additional payments for invoices received up to the time of the meeting, with approved payments to be added to the Finance Report.
  3. To receive the Budget Monitoring Report and agree to any necessary adjustments to the budget.
  4. To agree the expenditure for the plants for the gaps in the hedging.

8. Planning: To consider any planning applications received up to the time of the meeting and agree the council’s response.

  1. Items to be added to the next agenda.

 

  1. Next Parish Council Meeting date.
